Consultation Records (Web + Mobile): Access & Encounter Overview
A consultation record is a detailed view of a single consultation session. It brings together all the AI-generated content from that visit in one place — organized into tabs that you can navigate between easily. The web and mobile app versions of the consultation record are identical in structure and content.
How to Open a Consultation Record on the Web App
- Click on a patient's record — the History tab opens by default.
- Click on any consultation in the list to open the full record.
How to Open a Consultation Record on the Mobile App
Option 1: From the patient record
- Tap on a patient's record.
- Select the History tab.
- Tap on any consultation in the list to open the full record.
Option 2: From the patient list (quick action)
- In the Patients list, swipe left on the patient's name.
- Tap History.
- Tap on any consultation in the list to open the full record.
How to Read the Consultation Record Header
At the top of every consultation record, you will see four key details:
- Status — the current state of the consultation: On-Going, Idle, or Finished
- Provider — the person who conducted the consultation
- Date — the date and time the consultation took place
- Workflow — the consultation workflow or process that was used
How to View the Encounter Overview
The Encounter Overview is a brief summary of the consultation. It appears in two places: in the History list alongside each consultation record, and inside the consultation record itself just below the record header.
Only consultations with Finished status have an Encounter Overview.
How to Edit the Encounter Overview
Only consultations with Finished status can have their Encounter Overview edited.
- Open a consultation record with Finished status.
- Click or tap the ⋯ (More) button in the top right corner.
- Select Edit Encounter Overview.
- Edit the text in the Encounter Overview field.
- Click Save to confirm your changes, or Cancel to discard.
What Tabs Are Available in a Consultation Record?
Once a consultation is finished and AI content has been generated, the consultation record contains the following tabs:
- Consultation Summary — a concise, structured overview of the entire visit, including visit overview, key concerns, findings, diagnosis, treatment plan, and additional notes
- Clinical Notes — detailed clinical documentation from the consultation
- Care Plan — recommended treatment plan and follow-up instructions
- Follow-Up Email — a draft email to send to the patient after the visit
- Questions — clarifying questions generated from the consultation
- Transcript — the full audio recording and text transcript of the session, with speaker identification and audio playback
Each tab will show a Content Ready indicator when AI-generated content is available for review.
