Patient Consultation History (Web + Mobile)

The History tab inside each patient's record shows all consultation records for that patient. Each record displays the date and time, encounter overview, provider, status, and workflow. The list is sorted by default from latest to earliest.

Consultation statuses are:

  • On-Going — a consultation currently in progress
  • Idle — a consultation that was paused
  • Finished — a completed consultation
  • Archived — a consultation that has been archived (mobile only)

How to View Consultation History on the Web App

  1. Click on a patient's record — the History tab opens by default.
  2. All consultation records for that patient are listed with Date & Time, Encounter Overview, Provider, Status, and Workflow.
  3. For any consultation with Idle status, click the  menu button to finish it.

How to Sort Consultation History on the Web App

Click the Date & Time column header to sort the list from latest to earliest or earliest to latest.


How to Filter Consultation History on the Web App

  1. Click the Filters button.
  2. Select your filter criteria:
    • Consultation Status — On-Going, Idle, or Finished
    • Consultation Workflow — select from the list of available workflows
    • Expert — filter by a specific provider in your practice
  3. Click Apply to display the filtered results.

When filters are active, the Filters button turns blue and a Clear All button appears next to it.

To update filters: Click Filters, modify your selections, then click Apply.

To remove filters:

  • Click Clear All to remove all filters at once, or
  • Click Filters, then click Clear inside the filter panel.

How to View Consultation History on the Mobile App

Option 1: From the patient record

  1. Tap on a patient's record.
  2. Select the History tab.

Option 2: From the patient list (quick action)

  1. In the Patients list, swipe left on the patient's name.
  2. Tap History.

Each record in the list displays the date and time, encounter overview, status, expert, and workflow, sorted by default from latest to earliest.


How to Sort and Filter Consultation History on the Mobile App

  1. Tap the Filter icon next to the search bar.
  2. To sort, select Last Consultation Date — earliest to latest or latest to earliest.
  3. To filter, select your criteria:
    • Consultation State — On-Going, Idle, or Finished
    • Workflow — select from the list of available workflows
    • Expert — filter by a specific provider in your practice
    • Status — All, Active, or Archived (Active is set by default)
  4. Tap Apply to display the filtered results.

When filters are active, the Filter icon turns blue and a Reset All button appears.

To update filters: Tap the Filter icon, adjust your selections, then tap Apply.

To remove filters:

  • Tap Reset All to clear everything at once, or
  • Tap the Filter icon, then tap Clear inside the filter panel.

How to Use Quick Actions on Consultation History (Mobile App)

Swipe left on a consultation record to access quick actions. Available actions depend on the consultation status:

  • Finish — available for Idle consultations
  • Resume — available for Idle consultations
  • Archive — available for Active consultations

How to Archive a Consultation (Mobile App Only)

Archiving is available on the mobile app only. On the web app, all consultation records are visible regardless of status.

Option 1: Swipe

  1. In the History list, swipe left on the consultation record.
  2. Tap Archive.
  3. In the confirmation pop-up, tap Confirm to archive, or Cancel to discard.

Option 2: From the consultation record

  1. Open the consultation record.
  2. Tap the  (More) button.
  3. Tap Archive.
  4. In the confirmation pop-up, tap Confirm to archive, or Cancel to discard.

Once archived, the consultation status changes to Archived.

Only the Practice Doctor who conducted the consultation can archive it. Other users will receive a restriction alert.


How to View Archived Consultations (Mobile App Only)

Archived consultations are hidden from the default History view. To see them:

  1. Tap the Filter icon in the History list.
  2. Under Status, select All or Archived.
  3. Tap Apply — the list updates to show archived records.

How to Unarchive a Consultation (Mobile App Only)

Option 1: Swipe

  1. Filter the History list to show archived consultations (see above).
  2. Swipe left on the archived consultation record.
  3. Tap Unarchive.
  4. In the confirmation pop-up, tap Confirm, or Cancel to discard.

Option 2: From the consultation record

  1. Open the archived consultation record.
  2. Tap the  (More) button.
  3. Tap Unarchive.
  4. In the confirmation pop-up, tap Confirm, or Cancel to discard.

Once unarchived, the consultation status changes back to Active.

Only the Practice Doctor who conducted the consultation can unarchive it. Other users will receive a restriction alert.
